Phelps Regional Health Care Foundation’s giving priorities are aligned with the future goals of PCRMC, ensuring that monies donated to the Foundation are used to support critical medical services and health education services. Read below to discover our current giving priorities and learn how you can help.

Abbie Darnell Mobility Fund: Assists patients with obtaining the Bioness unit, which helps patients who have foot drop problems, have suffered a stroke or have cerebral palsy or other neurological problems. The fund also pays for the training of RehabCare staff on the use of the Bioness equipment.

Baby Steps Fund: Provides for families who are coping with fetal and infant loss with tangible reminders of their baby. This fund also assists mothers with knowledgeable, trained support, breast pumps, and supplies to make breastfeeding a success for mothers and babies.

Breast Center Mammography Fund: Offers financial assistance to qualified women for screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms and other procedures, as recommended by the PCRMC Comprehensive Breast Center.

Delbert Day Cancer Institute: Provides comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate, and cutting-edge regional cancer care. 

Enhancing Nursing Excellence Fund: Supplies our nurses with equipment, education, and technology to improve the quality of care and health outcomes for our patients.

Greatest Needs Fund: Supplements existing funds, supports capital priorities of PCRMC and helps patients in need that are not covered by another fund or where the medical provider is unsure how or where to get assistance (i.e. medical co-pays, travel assistance, prescriptions, etc.).

Heart-2-Heart Fund: Offers free heart-health screenings, educational materials, access to resources for cardiac care, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Hospice Fund: Provides financial support to qualified Hospice patients and their families through assistance with prescription medications, personal bills, food supplements, support services, and other needs, as identified.

Jay Crump, D.O. Memorial Fund: Provides for the needs of the Emergency Department at PCRMC.

Joy of Caring Cancer Fund: Offers financial assistance for patients undergoing cancer treatments who may have difficulty managing their daily activities due to their cancer diagnosis. This fund assists with prescription medications, wigs, food supplements, mastectomy bras and recovery supplies, rehabilitation, and other needs, as identified.

Patient Transportation Fund: Purchases and maintains transport vans to support the program which provides transportation to area residents within a 30-mile radius to allow them to safely travel to and from necessary appointments and treatments at PCRMC facilities.

Pediatric Dental Fund: Helps support ongoing costs and services associated with providing dental care to area youth between the ages of 1-18.
